What I am looking for now is seeing if there is a shop manual availiable for the car. I am not talking Haynes, I want a true to life factory service manual that will tell me how to take apart the car and put it back together again, torque settings, wiring diagrams, etc.
Thank you for any information you can provide. I just found a post that had a phone number for the manual. Is there any other avenues? Most cars I have owned there is a PDF version out on the net to download. Does anyone know of one of those out there?
Post by Diode » Wed Jun 20, pm So, you want a "true to life" factory service manual for the Fusion? I hope that you speak Spanish! The Ford service manuals that I've used lately have all been hyper-linked things where there is no high-level schematic.
Just a bunch of small pages with a few components and links to similar pages showing what they are connected to. I suppose that those cost too much to produce. It's really big. Is a software that shows everything you want, in english and you can print what you desire. Google for it and donwload using a bit torrent client. That's what I did.

This car is too complex to be detailed in a book.
The software is interactive and incredibly complete with thousands of images, electrical diagrans, information of each connector pin-by-pin, location, interactive diagnose tutorials, etc, etc and covers all Fords. I had to change the year of the cpmputer to to have it running. I'll try to find a way to run without this problem.

If you see a wiring diagram for exemple and you click a connector symbol, it shows the location of it in a picture. If you are following a tutorial to find a problem, you can click on tips. Trobleshoots like: if yes click here, if no click here and so. All interactive and very organized. And you can print any page you want. It's very easy to find the information you need.
